HELP!! I am confused on 06 headlight swap, mid project

Hello, I hope I am just really dumb, but why doesn't my new headlight have the silver coard to plug into the ballast?

I have searched for like 20 minutes and everyone says its just plug and play

You have to snake that out of your old headlights and snake it back into the new projectors.
I had the same question when I did mine. Once you do that, you'll say...wow

im guessing your new 06 lights are not OEM? it should be a direct swap of BALLASTS ONLY. There should be no need to transfer any type of wiring at all.
