Whining when i let go of the gas?

Everytime i let off the gas now, i get a loud whining sound coming from my engine bay. You can here it from outside and its loudest in 1st and second. It only started doing this about a week ago. It almost sounds like if u turned a drill on really slow lol. Like a low pitched wind. Any ideas?

Do you have the 5/16th spacer installed? I've seen some YouTube vids where this would happen after the spacer install. Other than that, I'll bump it because I'm at a loss.

You can give it a try...... giving it a bit of gas in a garage never killed anyone........ haha But I'm at a loss too if you don't have a spacer..

I assume it's in gear when u let off the gas, so the tranny is still engaged.
Not to freak you out but I had the same kind of noise when letting off the gas and it turned out to be the oil consumption issue.
Next time you hear the noise check the oil level.
If it is the oc issue it will be atleast a couple quarts low.
