Driver side window.. Need help ASAP
My 2005 g35 coupe driver side window went out and just replaced it and has a new motor and now is having an issue with the Auto Window feature... so i read in the manual there is a sensor that can detect if something is in the way of the window rolling up.. and if so it will roll the window back down about 25 percent of the way... well it seems this feature is tweaking out... everytime i roll the window all the way up.. it auto rolls back down... but there is NOTHING in the way of the window... the passenger side window feature is completely fine... does anyone have any idea what the issue could be and how to fix??? any advice greatly appreciated... Thanks advice would help greatly

Sometimes when my window is all the way down I try to close with with the auto mode it goes up like 20% then rolls back down automatically. It won't close unless I try few times and hold the button to close it. Any idea if this might fix it?
That's probably means the motor is going out.. Cuz mine was doin the same thing not long before it quit workin completely.. And yes the window reset worked fixed my problem.. Thanks for the advice

Mine did that when it was cold outside, freaked me out when parking at school since I have to roll down the window to open the garage gate. My temp solution in winter was to aim the side air vents toward the door and set the A/C to 90 the whole way to school. When it got warm, I just took the doors apart, the motors out, cleaned all the gunk that was in the gear mechanisms, and relubed them up. Both sides work like new, took about 1/2 each side and $5 dollars in lube.
BTW I never did have to do the window position relearning procedure, 1.5 years later and its still good.

Actually found the thread i originally used: https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...l-removal.html.
Also, it looks like infinitihelp just got a video on how to do it. Anyways, follow that guide and you are golden (props to the author of that thread). The only modification to the procedure I used was some conductive grease ( ), a VERY thin and sparing layer of it over the copper contact plates shown in the post/video. YMMV with the grease, but it has held up excellent for me.
