Expect to be changing out those little chintzy plastic power-seat gears quite often. They're known to fail on our cars at a furious pace in situations where people constantly use the rear seats and have to always move the front seats forward on a coupe in order to gain access to the rear quarters of the cabin.

3 of my friends have G35's and I'm the only one who hasn't had this problem yet on at least one of my front seats, because I almost never carry back-seat passengers.

The replacement gears cost like $80 a pop too and they're of just as low of quality as the originals.

Daily in/out will be a horrible PITA with a rear-facing car seat. Don't let anyone tell you different. Especially with a young infant where you'll be removing the seat every time and keeping them in the seat to go places.

Combine that with power seats and you'll be frustrated. This is the one place where power seats suck. Takes for ever and is hard on the motor.

If you think you can ride it out until the little one is about 25 lbs// 1+ years old, then do it. Once you go forward facing you'll be ok.

But in the meantime........ it will suck. And you'll probably scratch the interior up taking it in/out.
