really? not good news. I found them for about 400$ which i think would be the same for buying 06 projectors and the time spent making them black

Ive never really liked those after market headlights, they always looked like they belong on a toy to me. But thats just my opinion and with that being said its ur car and if u like them u should pick them up.... I think ive seen new oem projectors go for around $450 recently. I picked mine up used but in good condition and i love them, i Feel like they make my car look more top end

grabber blue is not the same as smurf, grabber is a bit lighter and more matte. I like it a lot more then smurf

i completely agree, once you go black onblack you can see the rims, just looks like a black whole, if i stay OB i will be getting gunmetal, like the g35 in the VMR add. If I go grabber blue, then i will def. have to gte black rims.

At the end of the day, its your car and you should do whatever you want. With that said, I'll still give you my $0.02.
I'd stay far away from the aftermarket headlights. IMO they are tacky and look like absolute ish. A nice set of projectors painted black will look alot better (to the masses anyways) and you'll avoid a lot of headaches down the road (condensation, LEDs burning out, burn marks in the housing, fitment issues...etc).
As far as the paint goes, I suggest you look into all of the costs associated with it. To do a whole car a new color properly (door jams, no runs/streaks, the correct amount of coats and clear...etc) can cost several thousand dollars depending on how reputable the painter is. You'll probably be able to find someone to do it for cheaper - but with paint you often get what you pay for. There are tons of horror stories about paint jobs that turned sour and ruined cars. Personally, I'd save alot of the coin and get the front resprayed OB and have the rest detailed so that it looks brand new.
The money saved can then go towards nice wheels and rubber. Again, just my $0.02.

I'm with Gary on this. You might as well just save that money it would cost you to repaint the car a different color (which will cost you a lot to do right) and put that towards getting a turbo kit. Don't get those headlights either, go with 06 projector lights or a set of retrofitted lights. I've seen a couple of cars here with some nice setups on their lights, custom retrofit with LEDs for the strip light.
