Going Rates from Infiniti w/Excellent Credit Score

What is the lowest rate anyone got through Infiniti? Particularly with a 5 year (60 month) loan? I have Excellent credit and a score well over 700, so I want to see if I should start with my Credit Union or Infiniti for my loan. Thanks!

You sould never take the loan from a dealer .. they make more money for the car that way. Use a Credit Union .. It may be a bit higher prolly 5.0 % but if you have a check from them, you already have a good card in hand. Now just play the game at the dealer.

I would think you can bargain w/ them more if you get the loan from them too. Since they'll also make $$ from the loan, they can lower the price of the car a little lower. Granted that you have great credit, which you do. I bought my G35 Coupe a month ago, so I'm not sure if you can still get this rate or not, but I got 2.9% for 60 months w/ a credit score of 780.

I got either 2.9% or 3.9% for 60 months last January through Orlando Infiniti (which used Bank of America). Beacon score was much higher than 700 though.

I used part of a home equity loan at 3.99% to buy my G. I walked into the dealer with a check that I wrote from the line, it was nice telling the dealer that this is what I am willing to pay and if he can't do it...I'm sure some other dealer wants my nice, big check. :-)

Also, it is tax deductable.

same thing here.....except, I called in and asked, since they had the color I wanted (ivory pearl).....4 hours later, they called back and said, "come pick up the car and it's the showroom car, so it's all detailed for you"...

I hear that rates are starting to edge upwards due to inflation.

I bought the new G35C from Passport Infiniti using their 2.9% APR/60 month incentive just a couple weeks ago. It was 1.0% lower than what Pentagon Federal Credit Union approved me for and the 2.9% rate will save me about $1,100 over the 5 years since I didn't go with PFCU. The dealership also had a 1.9% APR rate for 36 months.

js.

Paid cash for mine too, although I refinanced my house & used the difference from the amount I owed on the house & the amount that I refinanced to pay for it. Mortgage payments went up about $250 & I've got a brand new car & the title as well.

I intended to go with an outside vendor, but when it came time to do it, they beat my best offer by 0.6 points on a 5 year loan. I went with a 5 year since a 4 year was the same rate.

This was in September 2003, so 3.4 was a real good rate at the time.

On the 04's you can get 2.9% for 60mo from Infiniti.

On my 05 I got 3.99% for 63mo. The dealer went through Wachovia. My credit union is at 4.75% so this was the best rate available for me.
