Just last week My 2005 G35 coupe 6 speed sport got in an accident. The front fenders and front bumper need to be replaced. I had an OEM front under body chin spoiler (or whatever it's called) in the front. The dealer told me they could not replace that part because it has been discontinued.

My question is, does anybody know if this is true and if so, how do I get a new replica one or something just like it at an affordable price so they can install it.

Flip, my best advice to you is to pass on anything eBay due to the quality of what you may receive. Check out our MARKETPLACE under vendor exterior, there's several companys making front lips. The advantage is you know it will fit and be delivered quickly, and you can always call them. Only buy a lip made of polyurethane, fiberglass won't survive....Gary

 

I was looking for an OEM lip when I bought my new OEM bumper, but from I heard it is not made anymore.

I would stay away from the 70 buck ebay lips.

If you like the OEM sport bumper it could be a nice way to compromise?

 

FLIP714, I have an OEM Front Chin Spoiler from my 2005 Coupe. It's still attached to the front bumper.
The dealer is correct...they have discontinued the front lip...don't know why?
It will need to be repainted...I bought a Nismo front for my coupe. So, my front bumber and chin spoiler is in the garage.

Why is Infiniti discontinuing parts? These cars aren't even that old. I had a 1994 Subaru SVX that was very rare and parts are still made for it from Subaru.

 

I think the only reason they are discontinuing some parts is because they are not as profitable and they dont sell as much of them compared to other thirds party manufacturers. maybe they'll learn to lower their prices!
