G from stock to ztube popcharger to md art pipes (VIDEO)

Sup fellas. The past few weeks have been tough on my pockets. I have been bitten by the mod bug.

The first video my car was stock:

Then i got my ztube and popcharger in the mail. I installed immediately:
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/idRAKRl5ro4?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/idRAKRl5ro4?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

It took a few more days for my Motordyne ART pipes to come in:
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eDZlwpl7Pr8?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/eDZlwpl7Pr8?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

I do get a strong rattle around 3k rpms. Ive heard that its a bolt that i need to trim down.

Also there is a knocking when i first start the car. Ive heard that some torque dampeners will fix this.

Today i received my 5/16 thermal plenum spacer. Once i get the spacer installed ill update the post with a new video.

You are well on your way. Video three sounds much transformed and much improved. It still has the signature VG sound, but it sounds more aggressive. I hear a lot of G coupes in my area with mods and they rarely sound as good as that. Well done.

Wow that sounds really good, the more mods the better the sweet sound of our VQ motors....Gary

Thanks for the help with the video links... I'm an idiot. And yes it does sound a lot more aggressive. I have to put the the finishing touches on what I have now, then have a tune soon after

Did you feel any loss of torque in the low end vs the cats when you installed the ART pipes?

Not really. It feels about the same, however, there is a knocking that is happening when I start my car. It stops after about 5 minutes. That's probably where the loss in torque comes from. Like i said before, i think torque dampeners will fix this and allow me to put that "loose" Torque to the ground. Once the top end opens up it feels a lot faster. Also a tune will do me wonders.

Sounds great!

I can hear the infamous hiss when the engine winds down.

LOLwut. ART Pipes were designed to give insane low end torque gains. You need to look at any of the hundreds of dyno sheets out there.

Second video sounds great. Maybe try getting an OEM HR y-pipe to try to get rid of some of the hiss?
