hey has any one ran an 08 ss ?? my friend just got one and he has an exhaust he said he can put at least 4 cars on me . I dont think this is true i ran the older ss and never had a problem .

It would be a close race, but the only way he would get 4 cars on you is if you messed up the launch. It could go either way, it is a V8 after all. But quite underpowered for a V8 IMO.

I pulled on one ( safe open environment ) - 6mt coupe with bolt ons, no tune

 

1. your sn makes me think you are a girl.

2. no way he will beat you.

3. a ss silverado wont beat you either. i know this because i dusted one going home from base after an exercise.

 

Take it to the track and show us the video.

 

The only way to find out, is to just do it. Just make sure its in a safe environment.

I pulled hard on a Monte Carlo SS 07-08. I have a couple of bolt ons and a tune

 

I pulled on a mustang GT 4.6 raced him twice oh boy he was pissed

 

Wonder how long this thread will last discussing street racing? I haven't had a violation since '91 so I'll never find out how fast the Impala is against SLICK....Gary

 

I am pretty sure they all happen on the track.
