Hey 350Gt you mind elaborating a little more on how exactly you swaped the air bag covers?

Im trying to do the same thing to my 03 g35. So yea 350gt could you explain to me what im going to need to do?

Hey idk if my other replys worked but umm yeah lol 350gt could you tell me how to swap the cover? I'm just really scared.

I had my friend whom I bought the airbag from do it for me; it was installed also installed on his car. The installation appeared to be really easy based on my observation of the whole process (he did everything). Also his car's an '04 and mine's an '06 so I don't believe there would be any issues since yours is an '03.

If you're scared or just not confident enough to take it on then just take it to a shop. I've had one shop tell me that they'd have to take EVERYTHING apart which isn't true.

On the sides of your steering wheel there are two screws (not normal ones; they require that T-30 security bit mentioned in the quote). Once those are out and the plugs are disconnected then the airbag should slide right out. You basically just have to reverse the steps in order to install it.
