Spoiler is good...although I do like the 03-05 spoilers better than the 06-07's!

I had a wing on my 03 and I ripped that **** smooth off. Literally. lol. If it's the 06+ spoiler that doesn't look like a big whale tail, I think it could go either way. But, I'm a clean trunk kinda guy myself. My trunk is more bare than a French ***** at 3am when British businessmen are in town.

Did the same on my 2005 DG coupe. Took the surfboard off and put an 06 on. Looks much cleaner. IMHO, trunk without spoiler looks too boring.

I traded my wingless trunk for an 06 winged one... I think my car looks better with it
but the way some of these guys mod their cars the wingless looks very good too

Keep the wing i think it helps keep the G different from other cars but that is my personal preference, not every car looks good with a wing. The only time i would change is it it was a HD trunk though but that is a different category on its own.

I swapped my surfboard spoiler for the 07 spoiler and like it WAY more! I like the spoiler to break the ask up a bit.

Sorry I know this post is old, but I want to do this with mine soon if it's not too much of a pain in the ***. Did you weld the holes closed or bondo? I don't have the tools to weld, but if bondo holds up I could do that. My searches were an inconclusive "might hold up".

Bondo will definitely hold up. Be prepared to paint tho.
