My yellow HID fog lights shut off when i turn on my brights and then sometimes one doesn't turn back on so i was wondering if there was a way to make my yellow fog lights stay on even when i turn my brights on.

Why would you turn your brights on? Are you talking about your regular head light?

I remember how to do this with my old G20, but I'm not sure about the wiring on the G35. The concept was basically to use diodes to tap into both the low beam and high beam wires, so that you maintain current to the fogs when switching from low to high. On the G20, low and high weren't on at the same time. With the HID setup on the G35 the low stays on while the "high" actually just moves an actuator within the projector.

You can always study the wiring diagrams from the manual to figure how to bypass whatever shuts off the fogs when high beams are on. Or stop using crappy aftermarket HID retrofits in your Fog lights..

+1 on the HID fogs. I hate that greenish look.

To the OP: even if you did manage to have them both on 1) your visibility would still be the same with a SLIGHT hint of visible yellow near the bottom from you, the driver, and 2) Your HID highs would practically cover up the fogs anyway. Go pick yourself up some PIAA plasma ion yellows or something and be satisfied.
