So you're paying $300 for the license, PLUS $250 for tuning. That's actually about average... prices for a flash and tune run from $500 to 800 depending on the shop, location, etc. Also lots of places run specials right when they do the buy in so they can recoup some of that money.. lol

Biggest downside to getting tuned at the shop is that you don't get the cable, so you're pretty much stuck going back to the shop any time you need anything, plus you can't reflash back to stock and sell it used later on. For that same price you could pick up the full tuner version with a base map built on your mods, and then you'd have full access to your own tune so you could tinker with it yourself if you ever needed to
