Im looking in to a 2005 G35 coupe with 120,000 km (74564 Miles) and its a Auto
Its through private sale and the seller is firm on $14,500 (Canadian), is that a good deal or is there better deals out there.

 

Hold out for a better deal unless it's exactly the one you want as far as color combination and options, it took me a while to find my black on black 6mt coupe

 

Sounds about right for Canadian prices on coupes by the way with that amount of miles.

I'm not trying to scare you away from your future purchase but you need to do a bit of research on "oil consumption" because a lot of the 05-06 had trouble with that and most of them ended up needing a new motor..ask the seller if it ever had that problem and if the motor has been replaced because at 74*** miles I'm guessing the warranty is over..(don't buy a Lemon)..now the 03-04 didn't really have that problem but it also has its downs.07-08 is we're it's at!!

 

Isn't the oil consumption problem only for the manuals 05-06 or they have the problems in the automatics too?

sounds about right price wise.

I'm from Toronto and got my 04 6MT coupe last year (silver on black fully loaded incl navi) with 110,000km for $14,700.

..unfortunately for me even though mine was an 04 it burned oil. Had to replace the engine this year. ($2000 incl labour for new engine with 80,000km)

If you hold out I'm sure you can find what you're looking for at a lower price but I doubt it'll be that much lower.
