yes there is a million threads... mostly filled with tards and guys who are young and think modding a car is the coolest thing in the world.
I wouldnt be here if i didnt want to be man, no one pays me to post or anything. I am getting rid of my "racecar" for a more realistic DD. ive been looking at bmw 335, G35, gensis coupe, 350z. for my 15-20k budget thats all i am really interested in.

335i is really your only option for a car that's cheap to mod to get into 12's easily, but you're paying the premium price for the car so there's not really any money saved.

I bought my 2018 Q50 Red Sport AWD for $45 plus tax with 7500 miles on it. You can get it cheaper now. With lighter wheels and Z1 2 piece rotors (drop 70# rotating mass), it did 12.8XX at Sonoma Raceway.Originally Posted by Darkstar752

A WRX/STI is also cheap to mod and will get you there. Why does it have to be a 335.

They're cheap and aside from the HPFP issues they're pretty bulletproof. I see them all the time for about $10k-$15k, invest about $2500 more into engine mods/tune and replace the LPFP to one with more flow and you have 400whp. It makes very RELIABLE power as well and if you want to go crazy with mods there's a lot of options to get into the 500whp range on the stock block.
Gotta be the one of the earlier 335i with the twin turbo though, the later single turbo wasn't nearly as stout but does handle mods pretty well, I think the single turbo engine was introduced in 2010???

So you're buying a house and not going to have 800 bucks to spend and 11 hours to work on your ride? So why buy the house? You don't need to be a home owner, you have no idea of the time, effort, money and overall pain in a *** the house if going to be. Rent something and enjoy your life - purchasing a home is a commitment that is way over ever messing around with a ride. Besides all that, a G is never going to measure up to what you want or think it can be - it was never intended too.

A lot of truth in what you say. Yard work, pool cleaning, weeds, fence, termites, painting, deck.Originally Posted by chasracer

I had a lot more time on my hands when I lived in a 2BR apartment. Less space but also less stuff to fill that space. Gone are the days where I can't figure out what movie to see or where to eat. Now, I just get up and get going on the weekends. My friends don't understand it.
