FInally she comes to me

So finally my car is being delivered by a very reasonable seller. It's an 04 G35 coupe 6MT with all service records, clutch replaced at 90k, engine replaced at 53k with 0k on it at infinity it's silver with beige interior(I wanted other color but this is good) Seller agreed on $10.4K delivered from Jersey to springfield, MA about 2.5 hours. Issues I had was hood hinge, gas gauge backlight was out, passenger power door lock does not work, rip in driver seat, and passenger headlight is out. Other than that I like and I think I got a good deal. What you guys think?? Oh first mod suggestions or just general suggestions shoot!!

Honestly, that situation closely resembles a common scam. Hope you get it

Did you physically see the car? Or at least have one of those independent car inspector company guys go and look at it to verify everything? Hope its all legit. How did you pay?

Na I saw the car and drove it. lol. Only reason he is delivering because I cannot make it to new jersey to pick it up. lol Not the craigslist "we will ship your car" scam. lmao I didn't pay yet he will bring title and the service records with him when he comes and he will have a friend follow him and bring him home. haha. Sorry I made it sound like a scam didn't I. Well back to my original post. Thanks guys though

I could tell you but frankly I don't have the patience to type out all of the advice found HERE

Not meaning to be a douche or anything... but start there... find some ideas that interest you and then if you need some feedback or clarification on anything... the community is here to help. I see you're only 9 posts in and probably still learning your way around the forums- so I'll give you that link and let you scroll through all the other people in your position talking about new mods.

I don't mind lobbing a couple of ideas out but you have to give the readers an idea of what you're hoping to do with the car? If you're going to be trying to squeeze every drop of performance out of it then we're having a different chat than if you just want to make it pretty.

So the headlight is out?dose he know what's wrong with it?the last thing you wanna do is buy a car with electrical issues..it could just be the hid ballest or it could be something thatll be a pain in the *** to fix.
The passenger seat rip is a common problem that I also have with my 04 6mt..also the 04 6mt came with brembo brake calipers so make sure yours come with it,I know some guys that take them off and sell them for the extra $$$ and then slap on the regular brake calipers.

Obviously you didn't realize I was actually trying to help the OP, just in case he wasn't aware of those particular scams.

lol I'm the one that he brought it to. I didn't know that all that was major work. I figured they were minor issues and I was doing alright for myself but I guess not. Well you live and you learn it's here now. I still am glad I got her.

Thanks no I'm not trying to squeeze every bit of performance out of her. Just want her to look nice and move when I need her too. How I like all my women. No offense. JK
