thanx for the chime in. its sheds alot of light on me. yeah im gonna get the supporting mods and tune ASAP.
since its runing pretty lean right now its there anything i can do besides driving it easy? its not my daily driver so i only drive it on weekends, if needed ill let it sit in the garage until i get a tune..

i would go over everything and check for boost leaks and make sure the serp. belt is tight and no slippage and all that then get it straight to a dyno to have tuned by someone who knows what they are doing in your area

one thing that i just remembered is that the owner of the shop didnt put a fan on any of our cars during the dyno which i thought was very odd given it was 90 degrees inside.. he said that the fan was not necessary unless the car was going to be getting tuned and it was gonna be on the dyno for an hour or so..
could this have affected my Dyno numbers and my A/F ratio readings?..

wouldnt have made much of a difference in your case just doing a couple pulls to get numbers..i agree if it were gonna be doing a bunch of tuning pulls then yes the fan would be necessary..
it wouldnt have affected ur a/f in anyway..

i see.. looks like im in dying need of a good tune.. i was driving the G last nite with the wife and a old body style saleen mustang pulled up next to me on the freeway and wanted to run.. had to hold myself back becuause i dnt want to risk anything runing lean....

ya man..id get it on dyno for a good tune asap..i really wouldnt even be driving it but if u are def. dont wanna be boosting it..imo you are borderline dangerously lean from what i see on that sheet

Your Dyno operator is an idiot. Loading the engine like that with no airflow.
doing a few pulls without the fan is not going to cause any issue with a/f and not going to be a big enough debate to say thats why there is lack of power or running lean..
if this car was on the dyno to be tuned and doing multiple pulls then yes the fan would be absolutely necessary to cut down on heat soak, but as i said a few pulls for numbers it is not going to make a difference
