With window tint and the dark interior the blue really looks great. Looks like black or very dark blue at night and is beautiful in the sunshine.
For those who have the 05 Athens Blue, what's your take on the two interior colors available for it, wheat vs. graphite? I know it's mainly a personal preference, but it's nice to get an idea on what others think. I personally like the graphite as well, always did, felt you can never go wrong with a dark interior (except for the summer when it gets extremely hot), I feel as if it's a more sportier environment whereas the wheat I do like as well, but only the seats...they look very classy however I'm not too fond of the dash color...it looks like a dark grayish/brownish color.

Yep, that's why I jump on my 6MT 04 TB. It's the last 6MT TB in CA
. Since TB is no longer available for the coupe, it makes it even more rare .

We looked at two Athens Blue coupes, one with the graphite and the other with the wheat interior. Side by side the graphite was the winner hands down.

If you put every color right next to each other...........the caribbean blue gets the most attention. Hands down. It has the best color at dusk as it takes on a purple hue. It is not for everyone. I've had a dozen plus people ask me if I had a custom paint job. Arguing over something like color is ignorant...........people have different tastes. I love black........it's just a hassle to keep pristine.

Glad you love your Athens Blue! After I saw the '05 Athens Blue and Lakeshore Slate arrive at the local dealership, I bought a '04 Caribbean Blue coupe from a dealer 800 miles away.

My quote was taken out of context, I stand corrected that Athens Blue is the best color to go with is you want to get away from Black, Grey, White. I think everyone is already commited to the color they bought so to be arguing is pointless, good luck to everyone with whatever color they bought, its still a G.

As far as rarity goes, you cant take the car, auction it off and make money, it will depreciate just as much as any car would. Its not a painting or a collectable, its a car. You are going to lose money.

For the dark look, I prefer Twilight Blue over Black - Metallic flake, color tint, easier to keep clean and hide sqirls.

For the lighter conservative look Lakeshore Slate looks more rich than Diamond Graphite. The blue hue helps separating it from the crowd. (and asphalt)

For the sporty blue, Caribbean Blue is probably the one of the most insane looking stock blue color you can find on the street. It snaps your head back and screams at your retina. Perfect for attention ******. hahaha

Well I drive 04 CB coupe it wasn't my first choice but I'm so glad I got it. I'm not exactly an attention ***** but that's what I get all the time. Men, women it doesn't matter the car just turn heads. I have grown to love the CB the only people who says it sucks are the one who has a G with different color. LOL, it's all good to each his own I guess. I haven't seen the Athens Blue up close I will check it out when I get some parts this week. Anyways, enjoy your cars I know I look forward to my weekends. I've had the car since 08/2003 and I still can't get enough of it.
