Hi, just curious who got the Athens Blue G35c's.. I was thinking about getting one but went with the 2005 IP with Stone.
If some has the Athnes blue please post pics. wanna see how it looks. haven't seen it in a while. Thanks

 

saw a few when i visited the dealer today. they are absolutely gorgeous!

 

I personally dont like it, I think twighlight was so much better. The color looks cheap on the car.

 

IMO Carribean blue was the best color yet....now its going to be rare.....lucky Ba$tards...............

 

Here is our new 05' in Athens Blue. Still waiting on the dealer to get our 18" wheels in. Sorry about the bad picture.

Athens Blue is more of a "regular" blue than Caribbean Blue. Athens is nice, but it's more conservative than CB is and not as eye-catching. It seems to make the car look a little smaller than CB does for some reason. I still like Athens Blue the best of the '05 colors.

I still think twilight blue is the best color and it's also the rarest too, since for the coupe, only 04 has the tb color. I thought athen blue is only SLIGHTLY lighter than tb, but it turn out to be too light for my taste.

 

I think CB looks a whole lot better then Athens Blue. The new blue looks too plain and simple..while the CB had lots of hues in it, which made it really sweet. CB on a G is just to damn sexy..it stands out from the crowd if thats what you are in to. That's not me, so I'm going for black, which to me is just too damn slick.

 

Carribean Blue was the worst selling color in Infiniti. Whoever says its better than Athens Blue obviously says it cuz they have one and can't admit that they color is inferior. I've gotten compliments from fellow g35C drivers when stopped at red lights, for the color and the rims. Its much better than Carribean Blue. Midnight Blue was black at night, this color shines all the time. I think this blue is the best way to go if you want to get away from the everyday black,white, silver/gray.

I would recommend an 05' in Athens Blue with a graphite interior. We love ours!

With window tint and the dark interior the blue really looks great. Looks like black or very dark blue at night and is beautiful in the sunshine.
