So I have a 05 6MT with about 83k miles, am currently deployed with the Army, and my buddy back home told me he went to start it up to park it in the garage and he said its making a whining noise. I've done some research on here and by the sounds of what he was describing, its going to be the throwout bearing issue I see others having problems with on here. When I get back I plan on making it FI and seeing how they have to rip the tranny out, might as well up the clutch and flywheel as well. I was just wondering what kind of set up some of you out there have that have FI engines, as far as types of clutches and flywheels. Any kind of info will help me out here! Thanks guys!!
