I have had my Coupe for about 2 weeks and really am enjoying it. I have noticed 2 minor problems.

1). When I drive above 40 mph I hear a lot of wind noise coming from somewhere - maybe the passenger door?. It is the same sound I hear if I have a door ajar in my other car. Except in the Coupe, the door isn't ajar! Is anybody else experiencing this?

2). There is a sharp vibration/rattle that seems to be coming from the sun roof when I go over bumps. Anybody else?

Hey GsG....I get a little wind noise from right side but not a problem. Suggestion: the rattle you have I experienced.....it turned out to be my glasses in the overhead compartment case. Check it otherwise the sun sheild closing under the roof should not rattle...mines snug in my coupe.

I think I remember a while back someone had a problem with wind noise comming form the front bumpers and it turned otu it was a lose piece of insulation or something like that. Dont know where or what the post was under so hopefully someone else knows more but try doing a search.

 

I have zero wind noise.. But I'll tell you what other noise I have.
1. My driver side windows makes a weird noise when I go over some bumps. Like it's loose or something.
2. I hear a tick noise in the back seat passenger side. I think it is the rear seatbelt hitting the side panel. Not sure.
3. My center console cracks when the car flexes.
4. Tranny noise when the car is in neutral and the clutch is out. Press in the clutch and the noise goes away. I think this is normal.

All these noise are beginning to get on my nerves.

Go check with the Dealer. There was another post from someone about the same issue on the drivers. He went to the dealer and i turned out there was a TSB out stating to replace the weather stripping on the top edge of the door. He stated in another post after the weather stripping was replaced the sound stopped. Also listen closely to the rattle when you go over bumps. It could be the Autodimming mirror, mine makes a little bit of noise when it get's rough. Also when I go over some BIG bumps my window sometimes makes a noise as well.
