Got in a wreck :(

Worst day of my life, any guesses on how much this will cost to repair? My deductible is $1250 :/ http://s1258.photobucket.com/albums/...t=IMAG0009.jpg

Man in all honesty it wasn't my fault, I was going through an intersection and it turned yellow and I was in reasonable distance to go so I went, and I thought the person turning left as I was coming up was gonna wait until they had the red light to do the safe legal turn, but NOPE they went and I would have t boned the **** out of him but I swerved and braked at the same time, tires screeched and before you knew it I nailed him. It all happened so fast, but felt like it was in slow motion. 2weeks without my baby but I get a g37s coupe rental hopefully

FML...
The accident is bad enough, but the real drag here is that deductible. $1250?!?!?!? Christ... That is obscene. That is a nasty amount of damage. You gave her a good shiner, man. Sorry about that.

EDIT: If it isn't your fault, don't be concerned about deductible or anything else. Just take care of everything through the at fault party's insurance and you will be fine.

I am no insurance professional or budget expert, but I would strongly advise you to get a more reasonable deductible fast.

IKR?! I cant decide whats worse though the deductible or traumatizing me for a while when I do drive again..

EDIT: the cops were fairly nice, and issued no citations. The cops said it was 50/50 so idk what the police report is ganna say, but my insurance covers the damage either way.

If it's 50/50 then you'll just pay deductible and insurance companies will figure out what to pay each other for damages. The only downside is that it will be on your record as a no-fault accident.

Just guessing I'd say around $4000 in damage... you need a new hood, bumper, fender, headlight... man that sucks

Ouch...Your deductible will cover less than 1/4 of the cost of the repair.

How much of it is shitted up? Core radiator support trashed? What else? Pop the hood and try to determine the things that will need to be replaced so we can give you a more accurate estimate.
