is it just my radio, or does everyone experiance reduced radio reception when you put the rear defroster on?

I know the antenna is embedded in the grid with the defroster, but I not would expect is to have an effect on the radio>
Also;
Anyone here use "Bennette Infiniti" in Allentown, PA for service.
They are the nearest Dealer to where I live.
I purchased mine in Ardmore, PA.
thanks in advance.

I don't know about the G35, but my cousin's 2004 Altima has the antenna embedded in the rear window, and he got static when the defroster and radio were on at the same time. He actually had the rear window replaced by Nissan, and the problem went away.

Not your imagination. My reception goes from bad to terrible with the rear defroster on. My Prelude had a better embedded antenna that the G35. Just one of the 100+ stupid things that they did for the G. Thank god it goes really really fast!

there is a radio tuner in the car?

i have CDs crammed into every orifice of my G's interior - doors, backseat, pouches behind the front seat, center console, etc etc.

I get local traffic on XM.

There are also several news stations (but no local ones).
