Does anyone else get this jealousy **** from others? Granted, I get lots of attention from the ladies, but the guys are the trouble ones..

This bull**** people give me for being young and owning this car is unbeleivable....Almost makes me want to get rid of it so I don't have to deal with people thinking I am "rich". It sucks I can't have a nice car without others getting jealous....

I usally don't give a care as to what people think, but it almost makes me feel guilty for having such a nice, flashy car....I love the car, but what I don't want is a lot of attention on me..

I was thinking the TL might make me a little less conspicous..I am one of the very few coupes in my small town, which is why I might get so much attention...

I'm 22 (almost 23) and am buying the car completely out of my pocket with no help from parents or anything.

If they dont or didn't make enough money at your age to afford the car then that is not your problem or something you should feel bad about. If you like then keep it, you earned it.

If you can pay for the car yourself than F them... they're probably just jealous they don't make as much money. As far as the attention the car gets, yea it does get a lot. If you don't like it then maybe you should rethink your purchase. But i for one have worked hard to afford this car and i think the attention it gets is well deserved.

The TL is a nice car but not in the same class as the G35...

what you experience can occur at any age. sadly, it's human nature. you can be 50 years old or 20 years old, and they will find something to say to bring you down. for those ppl, i guess it makes them feel better. forget about it and just enjoy your nice ride!!!!

Yea, it happens to relatives as well. People get jealous when we have nice thing and they don't. Well, I think it's human nature that is in all of us. We just don't notice. For example, when u see a Ferrari on street. You probably think he has a fat pay job and just need sit in the office with a pretty assistant 5 days a week. But you never know that he worked hella hard in college and hella hard in his job in order to get that position.

People jealous because they want to be YOU. They want to take your place, beat you. They know in hard that G35 is a hella nice car. They just don't want to admit it.

 

I'm only 20 and I get some crap from people from time to time. I was lucky to have my parents buy this car for me though, but it's their investment in me for the future. They want me to be safe and have a nice car so I'm confident in the next couple years and I'm able to start off on the right foot.

Anyone who gives you crap for having such a nice car is just jealous and they wish they could be like you. Just take a look at their Prelude and a look at your G and see how much better your life is than theirs.

And theres nothing wrong at being viewed as 'rich'.. If you work hard for your money than you deserve the best and shouldnt care what people less fortunate than yourself think about you and the G.

I guess if I was still a teen or in my 20's......
The G is a nice car....but Geez.
In my case, it is the cheapest car I have driven in the past 15-20 years.
A lambo it is not.

 

Quit hanging out with poor people. You got a nice car, now it is time to move to the upper class where guys drive AMG for beater and ferraris for weekends. Or you might just be too self conscious or into your car.

 

This is one reason why I only let select people see my hobby.
