Most people who are not into cars are clueless. When I purchased my G a few years ago, I was running a company that grossed a little over $100MM per year in sales, and I made D*** GOOD MONEY, still do. My sales manager asked me flat out " How can you afford that car?" My initial response was to tell him it's none of his business. After some careful thought, I told him "because I can", and "if you have to ask how much, you can afford it!" What he didn't realize was one of the other salemen in the office had just purchased a Tahoe LT fully loaded....He paid over $40K.

It's all about what you want to spend your money on, and what makes you happy, not what others think.
