Painted Black Headlights

Finally finished painting my headlights black. Took me quite long (6 hours). Pics up tomorrow morning. 6 Hours well spent

Hello,

Honestly I can't see the difference between this and the stock headlight. Where is the paint exactly? Are there other pics with the painted headlights that have not been posted yet?

Painted black is the surrounding chrome (housing).

Unfortunately i didn't take any pictures during the process. But i am more than happy to create a write-up and list the materials i used. Once i get back from Yosemite though!

You painted the inside of the clear corners also? Did you use a screwdriver to ply it open? How did you reseal them?

You just buy those, they're $20 on eBay.

Guessing you used the Dupli-color Black Bumper coating as suggested in the DIY thread? I did the same thing, and I'm really not happy with how gray the "black" is. However, I really don't want to go through it again since I melted a small amount of plastic the first time around.
