Help! Dash Alert not stopping.

Sounds like TPS alert but no TPS light and doesn't stop. No Dash warning lights at all. After taking the key out and opening the door it starts sounding. As long as the door is open it will ring continuously until door is closed. As soon as the door is reopened it starts again.

Put your headlights to the OFF position and see if it still makes the noise when you open the door.

It definitely sounds like the "Lights on/No Key" warning, based on your description of the problem..... except for the part about your lights being set to Auto mode. Did someone else drive your car? Maybe they switched it to manual or you accidentally hit the setting on the stalk.

You're right partyman. My girlfriend drove it and moved it to fog lamp mode. I should have thought of that but thanks for the tip.
