New to the forums with a tip and a question.

Hey guys. Just bought my first 2005 G35 coupe on saturday and I love it. I traded my 2010 SHO in for it, and I consider it worth it. Now, here's the tip I found and some of you might not know this some might. On my Taurus I could hold down the unlock button and roll my windows down. The 2005 Coupe I bought ALSO does this. It's simple really.

Hot day
walking to car
hold down unlock button and the windows will roll down.

It's a great feature.

Now for my question.

The driver and passenger seat should slide forward so that passengers in the back can get in and out when you pull the lever. However this feature does not work and I have to manually slide the seats forward which can take a few seconds which is just a nuisance.

Any ideas anyone?

there is a small button under the lever that you press in order to make seats move forward.
This is an incredibly frustrating feature in the G. You actually have to wait for few seconds for seat to move over before you can get out.

Granny Sedan....No Thanks! lmao

Both my front seats move forward when I lift the lever, but not enough for an adult. Which could be why I've only had someone sit in my back seat 4 times since SLICK was new....Gary

Just the backrest moves forward, not the seat area?

My sister's Bimmer did this, except it opened the sunroof as well.

OP, our cars have another amazing feature, too. Automatic doors. You'll see what I mean in a few days.

As someone coming from a previous vehicle with a snapped door stop, I've also grown to enjoy this feature haha. Hands free!
