Can you help me solve this problem?

What's up guys. I'm ****ing pissed right now.

There was a wire blocking my CD loader so I figure I would take the radio out and fix it.

When I put the radio back in, my A/C controls and the Radio won't work. Everything lights up but the radio won't turn on and the A/C controls don't do anything. I did not disconnect the battery when I did this, so I am thinking I might have fried the units. What do you guys think?

Ugh I'm so mad right now Im fuming.

1) Calm down
2) Calm down
3) Calm the f*ck down

Calm?

Okay

4) Go back out and re-check everything. Maybe you overlooked a plug, or pulled a connection loose reinstalling it.

hahaha.. thanks. still pissed but calming down....

I rechecked everything, twice. I had the whole system put back together and then I took it all apart and check to see that everything was pluggin in... it was., I checked the fuses under the hood, everything is good. I tried disconnecting battery for 10 min, same issue.

I am having the dreaded A/C stuck on 75 issue, so i think i fried the board. I guess I gotta start scouring CL for new ****.

Thanks

Did you check the fuses in the kick panel?

Well...not sure what else to try, then. Maybe a good wallop with your fist before you remove it? Just to make sure something isn't jingling around inside?

look for the fuse for the ac control unit and replace anyway.. see if it works...sometimes it will light up but be dimmer than the others.

Just fyi. took it to a shop that does circuit board level repairs. they told me that the power supply for the stereo go shorted out. The dealer wanted $1,200 to replace the whole system. These guys fixed it and charged me $100.... works perfect now.
