So I have an 05 with a de revup motor in it and after installing the motordyne shockwave tdx2 and art pipes the car was fine didnt blow any smoke. Today on a cruise I could see blueish/ white smoke coming out of the rear end and smell burning oil. I know the revups are plagued with the oil consumption issues but damn deleting the cats and opening up the exhaust area for breathing room shouldnt bring all that out . I got the system used and it should be already broken in but im confused as to whats producing all this. when i had it dynoed it was running lean and at the dyno time it was bone stock. Suggestions or has this happened to anyone after swapping out cats and exhaust systems ?

 

You just need to monitor your oil level closely, modding your exhaust shouldn't have any effect on OC unless you're living at redline....Gary

 

The exhaust my have had oil on/in it, it can take awhile to burn off if that's the case but it shouldn't cause OC issues.

That's what I thought as well about in the system from the previous owner. I did t smoke as much today though. I could smell it a little bit and only when I revel it did it decide to produce smoke. Also there's a metal on metal vibration coming from the drivers side area where the art took place of the cat. Is that cause the oem bracket isn't there to hold it steady ?
