pedal box throttle controller

Hi, I am wondering has any one installed one of these on their Gs, I am thinking about doing it, but isn't the uprev tuning is similar to this idea? Please tell me your inputs I like to know.

Give me the $300 and I'll get an Uprev license on your ecu with the throttle restriction removed plus a whole bunch of other benefits. That box is seriously a paperweight
