I think I may have a problem with my door/window!

Newbie here, just got my 04 g35 about a month ago. Great car!!, but terrible on gas...anyway, I just got my windows tinted today, and the driver side window is not automatically rolling up and down upon opening and shutting the door. The passenger side door however works fine. Im not sure why its not functioning anymore.

Upon further inspection it seems the actual door doesn't even know that it is open. If i open the door with the car on, the "open door" symbol does not appear on the dash. When I do this same procedure with the passenger side door, it illuminates.

Upon further inspection, the actual door chime that sounds when the lights are on, does not work when opening the door either so im assuming something is wrong, but im not sure what it could be. Im thinking about taking it back to the installer and telling him about the problem but i was thinking maybe it could be something simple like a fuse or screw but im not sure. Any ideas!?

nvm.... while researching deep in the archives of the forum..i located a post where it says that if u unscrew the door jam sensor that these things will fail to function. While looking around the backseat i saw a screw laying on the floor, guess he forgot to place it back in when he was done. All is well!
