Adjusting Camber in the front
Hi guys,
My friend has an '05 coupe and his front tires are feathering. He took it to a tire shop to see if they could adjust the camber and/or alignment and they said they cannot adjust the camber on his current suspension and that he will need new shocks and struts. Does this sound right? Should he be able to adjust his camber?
Thanks!
Dan

If your friend has a high mileage '05 coupe there's a very good chance the shop was correct. With our Infinities there's some tow adjustment and very little camber adjustment which is why we install camber kits. If this shop knew what to look for there's a good chance he also needs bushing along with a few other suspension pieces....Gary

Have your friend look into aftermarket replacement bushings first, if the struts themselves were truly bad there would be more problems then just alignment. New bushings might alleviate the need for a camber kit.
