I think it's going to cost you almost 3 times as much as you currently have to go FI and do it properly.. possibly more. Test of patience and will power... let's see if you can hold out on mods until you can afford it.

With your high mileage coupe there's no way you can survive by just adding turbos/super charger. You'd need to do a complete rebuild to a stroker 3.8/4.1 and a big azz Vortech to achieve your goals. Being direct, you're better off buying a new Camao or better yet a '13 Selby GT500....then you can play!

Ugh, I say change your goals.
I think street "racing" is pretty retarded, and furthermore, driving in a straight line is not fun or challenging at all.
This forum makes me so sad, it's basically all an extension of ricer culture. Form before function, and designed to drive from one stop light to the next.
Go spend your money on going to your local track, it is actually pretty cheap. Go google for your local track and look at the calendar and go join your HPDE events.
I chose brakes, but if you don't go to the track it's pretty pointless.

I think you need $7K for supercharger set-up, $10K for turbo, and a lot more if you are 5AT. Then you need maybe $5K in reserve at all times for a new built shortblock+install+rental car downtime in case your motorblows (I mean you are at 113K on a 9 yr old car, let's be realistic, problems will happen).
You could buy used parts and all that to decrease the price but the risk of issues increases, sometimes to the point that downtime to troubleshoot it is not worth the cost if this is your DD.
Since it seems like you are really into looks, a BBK would be a good fit. You could get a used 6/4 and powdercoat it a good color for your wheels/car/lugnuts. Head over to the BBK thread here and maybe there is one on 350z for some tried and true ideas so your G doesn't end up looking like a disgrace.

and i bet you are going to want cross drilled/slotted rotors too, cause they are pretty.
I don't understand why people get these performance upgrades if you don't actually use the performance. Basically some ultimate poser. Like I don't understand why hellaflush people love bbk. Your hellaflush basically makes your car too slow to ever need the extra heat dissipation from bbk, which is basically their only benefit. Same with like the racing seats/harnesses, if your car can only go 60mph in case you hit a bump and your tire de-beads.
If you do get a bbk and don't track it, it will be basically the same and may even feel worse for daily driving than the oem system. Especially if you are super retarded and get some race or semi-race pads. Then you will get tons of dust and noise over your pretty wheels and grind down your rotors faster and get no benefit at all.
Please, if you aren't going to track the car, leave it alone. And why aren't you tracking the car? If you think you like cars, go track it and learn to drive. It's seriously not expensive and you can get track insurance.
