2003 pricing question

I'm about to purchase a 2003 g35c auto with nav, permium, 18" wheels, sunroof, spoiler and what appears to be some body trim as well.

13.5k miles, clean title and history report.

ive got the dealer down to 28k even - is that a good price? (long island, ny)

Also - the car is silver but I don't know which of the three silvers from that year it is - can you tell by the VIN?

Thanks,

pink

also - if anyone can run a carfax on it for me id appreciate it - the one i have was run 2 months ago and theres now an extra record showing when doing the free carfax scan - sort of want to see what it says.

56 reads and not even a single opinion on the price?

I'm excited as all hell to join the G ranks - just looking for a little reassurance (or ridicule)

That price seems to be about right. The mileage on it is excellent, which could mean that it was a "Year-end" '03. Can't help you on the determination of color though. Good luck with whatever you decide. Maybe this will help;

Mileage and options are good. If you are happy with the price, then I say you should still shoot for $27k, maybe $27.5k.
You have a lot more power once you are sitting there, ready to buy.

The only two colors are silver and diamond graphite (dark grey). Just ask the dealer which color it is.

What does the center console look like? Are the cup holders (behind shifter) covered by a sliding cover? If so, then it's prob a later model 2003.

Good luck, and post pics when/if you get it!

well - theres also desert platinum - which i think this may be.

its like a silver with some light tan mixed in.

I can't get them to move below 28 - but I also have been to two other infiniti dealers - one who is sitting on 12 used coupes - and he wouldnt put a car with similar specs in front of me for 28 so .. in this market area I'm starting to feel comfortable with the price. Probably not the best but I don't think im getting ripped. Car has zero imperfections except for a small rock chip in the lower portion of the rear bumper.

Ill definately post pics!

Seems like a great price to me...they are running through the auctions at about that price out west. Regional markets are different, but that is a good deal if the car is really straight.

Desert P is more like a "gold" color. Personally, I wouldn't consider it a silver color.

I think you would be suprised what you can get a dealer to do, when you are actually sitting there. Just tell them stright up that it's between them and one of the other infiniti dealers. Be very specific about the competition (has aero, blah blah), and ask them if they will match their price of $27k

With all the '05's arriving, and it being winter, the buyer has the power when shopping for '03's

Well, either way, best of luck.

*edit* I admit, I am talking from an east coast perspective, and I don't know where you are located....but can't hurt to try
