gas cap broken.. Q?

can anybody help me out and tell how to fix my gas cap. its a pita to open .. and it wont lock.. the thingy that used to be there broke. is it a easy fix or not?

I'd go to Nissan or Infiniti and buy a new one, hopefully that will make removing it easier. It's very important they seal properly too....Gary

Pretty sure he means the lock pin that keeps the flap closed or the pin that pushes the flap open.

You're gonna need to go to the dealership for parts or the junk yard if you're feeling lucky. Probably a fairly easy fis if you are familiar with getting behind the quarter panel, inside the trunk.

It's call actuator gas door assembly (the broken pin)
which pushed the gas door open, I have one without the rubber boot, it's easy to change also, if you want send me PM.
