Ugh.
I remember, 7 years ago, when a G35 vs. xxxxx thread on this site was an actual a point-by-point comparison of two cars - pros and cons.

Now, it's junk threads.

Sorry but at the price G35's are going these days, no surprise. I paid $49,000 for my G35 when I bought it new...

Times have changed. Time to move on...

It's true that Hyundai's 350 hp is not equivalent to Nissan 350 hp, but you are still about 70 hp short and 6 years older car + auto tranny (Nothing wrong with auto tranny... I wish I have one for my daily commute...)

sorry I just don't believe it, there is truth in numbers.

My buddy's 2013 3.8 Genesis pulls hard and it will most definitely take a G35 unless heavily modified...

But if you ask me which car is better... The G is more refined and is a better car for dates.

Not that a hyundai is a geo, but OP, would you be just as proud if you beat a turbo, built engine, geo metro...Why bother with garbage cars. This story wasn't that great, but it'd be more interesting if you raced a bmw 335 or even 328, or an Audi, or a jaguar, or a......not Hyundai.

I wouldn't call it a "garbage car"... Afterall, the car's valuation is above us now and they do come with 350HP and nice Brembo Brakes... The Koreans are just getting better at making cars now...

I've owned a Hyundai, so I'm not speaking from the outside. Yes they've gotten better, no there valuation is not better than Infiniti's.

They have those warranties for a reason. My in-laws' Kia has been to the dealership quite a few times already, and it's only a year old.
