Get rid of an SRT for a G35?
Whats up guys! I currently have an 07 charger srt8, but I'm getting the motorcycle fever again lol. I am thinking of trading in the charger for a G35 coupe around 15k and also getting a GSXR 750 with the extra money. You guys know these cars better than anybody, is this a trade worth doing? Or just keep what I have?

Your going to sacrifice straight line performance if you go with a G. But handling will certainly be approved. Familiarize yourself with the TSB's that are out there before purchasing so you know what to look for, there's a stickied thread somewhere that lists them all.
An SRT8 Charger is faster then a G35 by quite a bit...

I'd be sacrificing a lot of speed forsure, but the GSXR would even blow the charger away, so I thought that would keep me happy speed wise. I love my charger but gas wise it's terrible! It pretty much comes down to either wanting two still very nice toys or an extremely cool car with a ton of speed.

Do it man! No car that any of us can afford will ever stack up in terms of speed with a 750-1000cc sportbike. Get your pure speed kicks out of the bike and use the car for when you need to carry stuff/people, go on dates, or when it's raining out.
Plus it's always nice to have a second vehicle in case you have to do some work on one of them and need an alternate means of transportation to get you through that short duration of potential down-time.
You might miss the rumble of the V8 exhaust though, but the G35 has one of the best sounding V6 motors on the American market.
The G35 will last longer in the grand scheme of things anyways in terms of total miles you're likely to get out of the car when properly maintained. Just be weary of buying one of the Rev-Up motor G35's as those are more prone to oil burning problems.

Trade your G35 for my charger SRT8?
So probably gonna trade my 07 charger srt8 for a G35. I'll have to post on craigslist, but I figured I'd give you guys first shot at it. It has almost 70,000 miles on it, and has absolutely no problems mechanically on it. I'm looking for an '03 to '07, so chances are you would have to put some extra money down. Here's a pic of the car, you can message me for any more details. Thanks!
If someone has a G35 coupe and there looking to trade up, your car and cash for 2007 DODGE CHARGER SRT8
Great Deal!

I'd go with the G and bike.
SRT8s are sick but they still look like an SXT....

Interesting transition- you are well aware, I presume, that g35s don't have anything (stock) that will touch a hemi- right?
The charger with a 3.5 v6 is probably close to the same performance stock though isn't as elegant. I was looking at that very car when I bought ( without the stripes)- but it was the flair of the g I couldn't pass up.
Anyway- not interested but I've got to ask: what gives??
