Motordyne TDX2 ?'s
I've been looking at the motordyne TDX2 system recently. I would be running it on stock cats for 6 months or so until I could afford ART's and a tune at the same time. There's no one around me who has one, so I'm wondering about drone and loudness, and any other drawbacks.
Noise Level:
Stock Exhaust: 3/10
TDX2: ?
TDX2 w/ ART: ?
Drone at 70?
Drone at 80?

I just installed the TDX2 with my art's tp. No rasp or hissing sounds anymore over my old Ark Grip system plus I made power too. I agree with the above comments. I love this exhaust, well worth the money!
If you decided not to get the tdx2, please DO NOT look at the ark grip you will be disappointed with the art tp combo, I was!

Ok last question. Has anyone run this on stock cats? How does it sound? I'll have it on stock cats for about 6 months before ART's.
Also, do you think it would be better to get ART's/Tune now and then the exhaust or the other way around? Only other mods are MREV2 and Z-tube.

You're gonna love your TDX2 & ART Pipes. Im not exaggerating this at all, it puts a huge smile on my face at least once during every single commute I make.

Ive taken videos of my car, and listening to them turns me into a kid. Sometimes I really can't believe that's my car. I'm staying in the Nissan family for sure now that Motodyne has a product line for the G37/370z. Ahhh, can't wait! Hoping to purchase a 370z upon completion of school next year! Woop Woop for no student loans!
Hey guys, I got my TDX2 installed....pretty happy with it. From the previous posts, is it accurate to say that the TDX2 exhaust is quieter with ART pipes compared to stock cats? I'm ok with the sound now from the stock cats. I don't know if I'd want it much louder though so, if the ART pipes make it a bit quiter...then that would be good. Does this apply to HFC's as well? I'm look at the Fast Intentions Resonated HFC to help with the loudness as well? I would like the extra power, but not the loudness. Thanks.
