Is the VIS Racing "K2" trunk is similar to Strafespeed trunk? (or vice versa, whatever) I'm looking to buy a V1 CF Strafe trunk but it seems that Dustin@StrafeAutomotive is not a vendor anymore and the www.strafeautomotive.com website doesn't have a phone number (nor will they provide one when I asked in email) so I'm skeptical to order off the website (not to mention I was quoted $599 shipped before I heard their customer service and what not was doodoo) Anyone one where to get a brand new one anymore?

Yeah I was wondering where to get a Strafespeed trunk too. There was one clearly small company online I found it for for 650$ but I thought there might be a vendor on here that might offer it for less? I love the look but I'm a college student so of course the cheaper the better

I already have the VIS CF K2 trunk. The installers had trouble with the fitment and my trunk can no longer be used with the dampers to hold it up. The trunk looks great from fall away but when you look at it from the side it doesn't look like a great fitment.

sorry in advance for not spending 30min on researching but what's the weight advantage from switching from an OEM to Carbon Fiber trunk? Anyone know exactly?

This....^.... is exactly why I'll wait until someone comes up with a lid that looks and fits perfectly. With luck Eric will have one perfected by a few months into next year....Gary

I actually like the AMS Add On Spoiler from Strafe, is that one hard to get? At least that way you don't have to worry about fitment since it's just going to get molded into your OEM trunk lid.

I bought a used "Strafe" trunk from a member. Only did a test fit so far. The fitment wasn't terrible, but the gaps are noticeably bigger than OEM.

Upon closer inspection I noticed that there is a VIS sticker on the underside. Is it possible that Strafe sold VIS trunks or maybe my "Strafe" isn't a strafe afterall.... but it looks exactly the same.

By the way this trunk is only from vis and they are the ones that make it that's why it has there badge on it . It fit great I had no gaps or problems . Stay tuned ..

I have our HD-R carbon trunk on my car.. I effin' love it lol. Sorry I don't have more pics, I just got into an accident a week back and the car is at the shop. If anyone wants pricing, PM which version Duraflex or Carbon Creations and your Shipping Zip Code. I'll take care of my fellow G's!

Located BAUSAUTO on FB and mentioned we were waiting for a new revised edition of the trunklid with a sizeable lip. They responded with two words....Out Soon! Can't wait to see what Eric comes out with....Gary
