Im looking at the K2 ‘AMS’ Fiberglass and CSL ‘Hikkata Dori’ Fiberglas.

Which has better fitments and build quality?

 

I personally say stick with OEM, there is no better fitment. Then again, I am not answering your question, just putting my 2 cents.

 

Trying to make more car more timeless , i do not like the oem trunk with the spoiler.

I love how the lip trunks look.

 

I agree, the lip trunks are nice. I got OEM with the wing, and want to get a wingless OEM...

 

I love my strafe trunk in cf!! Fitment is great! I guess its the luck of the draw!

 

I have the Strafespeed trunk myself. Quality was great and fit well. A lot of members have had quality issues with Hikatadori products in terms of taking a lot of work to get it to fit, and thin fiberglass.

 

More of us need to ask/beg Eric at BAUSauto to come up with a trunk lid that has a slightly taller spoiler with a perfect fit in Fiberglass and C/F. Call him and beg....I did! 1-626-692-3103

I have strafe trunk and the fitment is very good. Although just for your information. Any aftermarket trunk you purchase that is a light weight material you will need to possibly remove ONE of the two trunk dampers to make for perfect fitment. i never regret going from OEM to aftermarket trunk!!

 

I want the strafe trunk as well but i heard there is problems with company in regards to receiving their parcels.

I asked the vendor about the two trunks and they said it would fit good and is made from good quality.

i would say that too if i was trying to push a product so i need to know from first hand experience.

I researched the Hikkata Dori , didnt come up to good reviews.

Nothing on the AMS.. or I didnt look hard enough :X

 

Just orderd vis racing k-2 carbon fiber trunk with the lip wing .... on its way now .. Has anyone had experience with these?

My strafe trunk was near perfect fit. You just have to play around with to fit.

 

I will definatley post pics !! . Im just having problems even getting my avitar pic I don't know how to do it . Also thanks for the welcome!!! I like this forum a lot better then 6mt.net... But I also noticed that the trunk is actualy from vis racing and that's who is the actual seller such as I'f you look at the bottom of the inside in the trunk it says vis wich would be the authentic vis product stamp ..
