Why would it not? Just cause it's an OEM part?

Just curious as to why you think it's not a mod...? It changes the look of your car and I would say the definition of a mod is to separate your car from the rest of the Lemmings of the world with the exact same car...

Sorry if I offended any Lemmings lovers out there...

It's pretty easy, just do it yourself. It took me and my friend less then 45 minutes and we took alot of time to make sure we lined up everything right. I've drilled holes in many of my previous mustangs so it was nothing new.

Here's a picture:

Anyone know how many inches of clearance you lose with the lip on?

The drilling is not the hard part, it removing ALL the bolts under that's a pain in the A. The templates are not accurate either... plan on filing a little to make it fit perfect. Took me about an hour to install.

You remove the bottom so you can mount the nuts that connect to the front lip. Oh yea, a Hydraulic Jack makes it easier too...

To answer the clearance question:
You DO NOT lose any clearance... the lip actually extends the lip further out. Heightwise, you don't lose any.... but you have to be careful parking, and dips.
