Walker Resonator Assy for coupe (midpipe)

Has anyone ordered this from AutoZone? When I bought my car it had an aftermarket exhaust on it and I have since sold the exhaust and went to a junk yard and got a sedan midpipe and it's quiet, of course. So I was looking on AutoZones website for the gasket between the midpipe and muffler section and stumbled across this...

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...9_0_6234_59352

It comes in tomorrow and I'll be installing it tomorrow night.

I'll let you know how it sounds after I install it. Plus it was only $40!!!

Post a video! Kinda interested on how this will sound cuz the y pipe starts at 2.25 and ends 2.5 and this pipe you bought starts 2.25 and ends 2.5. You might have rasp from the diameter changes.

DGrant, what was wrong with the aftermarket exhaust? From the bone yard to Autozone, sounds like you're chasing your tail. Hope you find what you're looking for!

dgrant curious how the walker mid pipe sounded? Did it fit right? $40 is crazy. Never considered doing exhaust myself, but is it just a matter of bolting pieces together?

Sorry guys. I forgot all about this thread. It sounds stock and it just bolts in place. Sounds just like the oem coupe midpipe would.

Damn man not bad for $40! Did you use OE gaskets? I feel like trying this out, my midpipe and muffler are starting to rust out where they join at the gasket. Hoping I can only replace one, but I may have to replace both of them unless my mechanic can do some weld or something.

The front gasket yeah but the donut gasket where it meets the muffler won't work because there isn't a flange for it. You'll have to use a standard gasket on that end. The stock one might work but I'm not sure.

Ok so did you purchase a new gasket for the rear connection to the muffler?
