Are you saying the fans are loud when they come on? They are not quite by any means.

The fans are quiet but when I put my car in park after driving they are loud for a while, but still I checked my radiator fluid when it was cooled down, there was no fluid from opening the cap but the fluid was in the reserve tank? And my car hasn't overheated or the gauge hasn't got hot...

Checked again and now the fluid seems to be gone from the reserve tank and the fluid levels are normal, can't seem to figure out what's going on here

How's the temperature on the gauge? I had a similar issue with my car overheating and radiator fluid leaked all under the hood leading to the ground.

What did you drive before?
I came from a 1.8L Civic to the 3.5L G35 myself and also notice that after sitting in park for a few seconds after a drive, the fans really kick on. I wasn't used to it because the Civic didn't, as well as every other 4cyl I had.

My thoughts are that while you're in motion, the air flow is enough to keep your engine cool, but once you stop, it's sort of playing catch up to cool it back down???

VW does it right... the fan remains on even after shutting the car off to ensure the engine is cooled down, that freaked me out the first few times it happened also.

Could be nothing.

might be your radiator fan. Call Infiniti you should still have it under warranty. The was a recall on these.

With your coupe in park and the fans going faster sounds like fan or wiring/sensor issue. Qualified Nissan mechanic should be able to locate the issue by testing the circuits....Gary

My guess would be the mechanic may have overfilled the system a tad too much causing the overflow to seep the excess fluid...Also any fluctuation (rise) in temperature could mean air trapped in the cooling system. Even qualified mechanics can improperly bleed the system as it has to be done repeatedly sometimes to get all air out. I would rule this out first before pointing towards the fan(s).

i doubt its still under warranty, car has 109K, but if there was a recall, shouldnt it be on the carfax report? and how can i check for any recalls the 2004 G35's have that i should get in to get taken care of, thanks... as far as the temp guage, its gone up once but hasnt done it again

The carfax does not show everything. It's a big misconception. Just call your local Infiniti dealer. Tell them you want to register the car u fee your name and give them your VIN#. Good luck
