Gas door lock

Ha ha, we'll guess i didn't get the memo that you have to unlock the car to get the gas door to open. Couldn't get it open so I pulled and pulled till it opened. Lol now I need new gas door lock.

youre looking at a 70 dollar fix for the motor if you broke the prong off, and if you broke the hole that prong goes into on the gas door, well youre gonna shell out more "/

I'm laughing over here because I had NO idea the gas cap locked with the doors...
that's something your average Honda/Toyota doesn't do.

I would like to know how many people didn't know this. Just for shirts and giggles.

I'm sure its a common thing among new drivers. Just as MOST people don't know you can put your windows down with your remote

There's a manual release latch in the trunk behind the carpet to the right. My gas door switch has intermittent problems and I occasionally have to pull it off at the gas station.

Bought car out of town and needed to add gas on the way back home. A guy was asking for money so wife locked all doors. I guess you can imagine what happened next.
