Leaking Radiator

Just bought my G and brought it in to Infiniti. They told me I had a leaking radiator that needed to be replaced. They wanted $450 to do it. I figure for that price I would just rather do it myself and even maybe upgrade to an aftermarket one. After some research, I've heard the koyo all aluminum ones are pretty good and are a direct fit. Anyone else has a the koyo all aluminum radiator? Was it easy to install? Is the Koyo radiator actually a "direct fit" as they advertise or are some mods needed? I'm new to the G and never replaced a radiator yet. Anyone have a DIY post that could help me out. Any help would be awesome

Also if anyone knows a good reliable vendor online for the Koyo all aluminum radiator please do tell me. Found a couple of ebay around $300 but i don't know how much I'd trust ebay.

I don't know how many miles your G has, but there is a recall regarding this issue. I had similar issue and had taken it to the dealership and they fixed it under warranty. If my memory serves me right, it is covered until 100k miles.

The warranty extention to 100k miles was only for the fan motors... not the radiator itself, or the fans.
