Beware driving in the rain if you own a DP G!

We are having really bad weather in Miami this morning and I'm on my way to work and this lady tells me to put my window down, she says, "Good morning! Your car is really beautiful and everything but with this bad weather and the color of your car, you kind of blend in with the road and no one can see you from behind. Please turn your lights on." I freaked out. I had my lights on Auto. I guess it wasn't dark enough for them to turn on. Does this happen to DP owners? Have you checked this out? Can you imagine if someone just slams into me? But I also wonder, how can you not see my break lights? Was she being a bitch?

I think she was just trying to be helpful.

One quirk of our cars I've noticed, is that the auto headlights don't come on when you turn on the windshield wipers, like they do in our Grand Cherokee. You should always run your lights in the rain or fog, as this kind of weather really makes any car difficult to see at a distance. Low beams only, though.. the high beams will reflect off the rain/fog and reduce your visibility.

Just go to the dealership and get the sensitivity adjusted on your lights...there's 4 different settings.
