To bad they don't make a after market one. 300 for just that rubber piece... ****.

yeah i am. Some companies call it a underbody spoiler.

It would make sense that a lot of cars would have them...improved aerodynamics would improve mpg, modern cars go through wind tunnel testing to improve there aero as much as possible before getting into the more expensive way of going about it.

Its free mpg and accel for them before having to turn to expensive engine redesigns like adding DI or turbos or adding more gears in a transmission.

Same reason why a 2010 ford escape has the same drag coefficient as a 2001 prius.

If you look at the underside of the g35 with the aero package, its just basically just small pieces of plastic covering the underside of the car.

correct me if im wrong but i thought the rubber lip was there to prevent scraping the bumper itself underneath like on drive ways and dips....?

Id buy an after market front lip and paint it...I bet it would cost the same as that black rubber lip.

and def get a fender liner. will prolong the life of engine componets forsure if there isnt water and dirt being sprayed on them daily.

i removed mine since i have a ings lip and it covers it anyway. but the real reason i removed is 10 less freaking bolts to unbolt just to remove the damn engine cover during maintenance lol
