Talking just got my 06 G35

just picked up this 06 g35 from GA, only had 47K miles pretty good. it was a 6 hour drive back, a very fun 6 hour drive after driving it, noticed the brakes are not as good. so any recommendations on a big brake kit? also, im getting new rims, anyone interested is the stock ones? they are not in the best condition.

The stock brake system is pretty good for daily driving. fluid flush, and new brake pads will probably fix any brake issues you have.

If you plan on tracking the car, then the stock brake system runs into heat issues rather rapidly. Swapping on a used oem brembo set (i'm assuming you don't have it) is fairly economical and works well with the brake system.

Looks great..welcome to the community.

Check in the vendor classifieds under the brakes... they've got nearly every option for sale.

Welcome to DRIVER Sudley! Congratulations of finding that low mileage coupe.... Ah yes, Ft. Bragg I visited there a few years ago before being sent to Nam. Enjoy the ride....Gary

I swapped my oem pads for Hawk HPS. They work great but squeaks at when braking lightly.

Nice G Sudley. The stock Brembos work great with a set of rotor and pad upgrade.
