Hello guys, I recently got a up rev tune last week. There are rumors out there that the tune is suppose to clear the CEL and shouldn't come back on right? Well after a week with the tune, my CEL came back on. What should I do guys.

Find out what the error code means, that's a start. Unless you have a destroyed sensor you might want to revisit your tuner. Maybe something was wrong the the program....

Yea last week. I went to auto zone the week before I got the tune and they said its either one of the cats gone bad or one of my o2 sensor is bad. Probably gonna go back to Jtran to see whats the problem.

Uprev is in Austin. I have it from a very credible source that they've been retuning a lot of jtrans customers recently..

Yea but the CEL isn't because of the tune. I got the CEL 3 weeks before I even talked to Jtran.

what was the code? If you've got TP or HFC's it common to throw a P420 or 430, most tuners just disable it in the rom. If you don't have access to a code reader most auto parts stores will let you borrow one for free

They should be able to turn it off and reflash you with no problem then. Just stop by the tuners and let them know
